Artykuły gazetowe o historii oświaty dla Saamów – Teraz też po angielsku i trochę po polsku!

Historia oświaty dla Saamów (po saamsku: Sámi skuvlahistorjá, po norwesku: Samisk skolehistorie) jest projektem który składa się z książki i stron internetowych, został rozpoczęty w roku 2003. Jest opublikowanych 6 książek z historiami z Norwegii w wydawnictwie Davvi Girji. Jest zapoczątkowana podobna praca o Saamach i oświacie w Szwecji, Finlandii i Rosji.

Książki są wydrukowane z równoległym tekstem po saamsku i norwesku, a część pierwszego tomu jest przetłumaczona na angielski i opublikowana w internecie. Byłoby za drogo i za dużo pracy, aby tłumaczyć wszystko. Zamiast tego przetłumaczyliśmy artykuły tematyczne, którze stopniowo w latach 2007-13 były publikowane w gazetach saamskich Min Áigi / Ávvir.
